Job Overview
TechNova Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable distributed systems that power our enterprise SaaS products used by millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend services using Python, Go, or Java
- Architect microservices and event-driven systems on AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver features end-to-end
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
- Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and documentation
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Go, Java)
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis, DynamoDB)
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
